Willow Porcelain Tea Jar

This reproduction tea jar has a tranquil landscape of temples, bridges and chinoiserie trees.  Known as the willow pattern, this traditional motif was first introduced in the late 1700s.  In tones of brown on off white, this scene is applied to the hand-formed traditional hexagonal shape jar.  A finished lid removes, allowing for use as a vase or storage.
